Steve Hagy
When I took this photo (1974 or 75) I was told that this was a 1961 IH truck. I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that '61 would be correct. Thanks!!Steve
Fleek
I think it is safe to say it is a 61 to 63 model. They changed very little during that period. Maybe someone can narrow it down from there.
Dave Mellor NJ
1960 still had the vertical headlights.
Dave Mellor NJ
some of the 63s had single headlights. By 64 they all had them. Perhaps the dual light 63s were carried over 62s.Interesting that the cab didn't change from the mid 50s.
Dave@Moon
According to American Truck & Bus Spotter's Guide 1920-1985 this is definitely a 1961 or 1962 International, and there were 39 different International pickup models. The 1963 models were all single headlight models according to that book. If they did make this truck in 1963 it would have to have had that year's required amber parking light lenses. This truck, if it is a 1961, appears to represent the first year for the C-130 all wheel drive truck.
