Josh.C
I'm trying to get as much detail on this car as I possibly can, my grandmother told me this was my grandpa's first car and I am going to take the route of getting one just like it, the only info I have on it is its a Ford and both the picture were taken in the mid 50's. I just recently stumbled upon these pictures so this is the start of a fun endeavor for me. Any and all help is much appreciated.

drwatson
It's a 1947 or 48 Ford Super DeLuxe Tudor. The two years were so identical I can't be more precise. There are enough clues to say it's not a '46, which looks similar.
Grandpa
My guess is 1948 Ford since the car has the round door key lock cover. The 1947 Ford had a teardrop shaped lock cover.
Dave Mellor NJ
What Grandpa said is true but I don't see how you could see it from here. The easy way to to tell it's not a 46 is by the parking light stationed below the headlight. The belt moldings under the crease is another 47-48 feature. Good luck finding one,the tudors are less expensive than the coupes. Hope to hear more from you.
