motoringicons
Travelo Trailers were built in Saginaw, Michigan. This trailer is one of the first built. It has been stored indoors for almost its entire life and remains in very good and well preserved original condition. The interior retains all its original wood furnishings including cabinets, heater, stove, beds, dining area, wood ceiling, screens, etc. The main body is about 12' long and it has its original 17" wire wheels and period tires. It retains the original bill of sale and mfg. tag and would be a great display item for any collection or museum. Located near Ann Arbor, Michigan. The price is 9,950.00. Please call 734-730-4274 or email: motoringicons@hotmail.com to schedule a viewing or for more information. Paul Dobbin
Pretty cool trailer. After reading the entire ad and remembering my grandfather's journal of his trip around the country in one just like this one, I clicked on the link to the Tin Can Tourists and found my old story with that journal. http://www.tincantourists.com/BetseyStory.pdfReally cool story about the 1937 trip towing the trailer with a 1932 Oldsmobile. WORTH the read if you want to see America through 1937 eyes.
