Coley
I bought a Packard hood ornament at a household sale. The base is 17 1/4" long and has No.394757 inside of it.The Cormorant has No.407014 inside of it.One broken wing base has the No. 407013 LH on it.Would like to know what year it is from and if anyone makes the wings? Thanks

Ozstatman
Looking in the 48-54 Parts Manual on PackardInfo ( Packard Motor Car Information - Packard Literature and Manuals - 1948-1954 Packard Parts List ) find #394755 listed for the 22nd 23rd Series Ornament. Casting numbers don't correlate directing to part numbers but are usually close.
Ozstatman
Looking further in the Parts Manual found P/N's 407012 and 407013 and they correlate directly! They are the right and left side wings for 24th Series Ornaments. So you may have a mismatch between the base and the ornament.
