wwebb
Does anyone get insurance on their Reatta through one of the classic car insurance companies?

Tacoma
I looked into this last year when I bought my 90. There are two of the larger companies that would cover my car but had very stringent driving conditions attached. Other have age requirements. As a result I just added it to my Geico policy with my other cars even though I only put a couple of hundred miles a year on it. I can at least drive it when I want. It depends on your usage factors. NYBobP
I use Hagerty. Runs around $400 per yr, valuing the Reatta at 25K. 1 policy is in NY, the other in FL. Afraid that regular insurance companies will not give what the car is worth if in a major accident.
Guest tomt
I carry an agreed upon policy through a division of Farmers Insurance that deals in collectable type cars. I did not use any of the antique Insurance Companies as they specified no loss for 5 years, and I lost my TR-6 to a fire about that long ago. Farmers is no bargain, but along with my other vehicles insured through them it works out.
Booreatta
I have used Grundy for several years, agreed value and the cars are in locked garages and not used as daily drivers and the cost is around 300.00 per year for both Reatta's
