Looking for a source for bulk wire

I'm looking for a source for bulk wire of various types: cloth insulation, plastic insulation, stripes, solids, etc.

Would anyone have a source for a good selection of bulk wire?

Lee Peterson advertizes in the Gas Engine Magazine (GEM) and has an excellent selection of cloth covered wire. He is in the Lynbrook NY area. Not sure of the address but will try to find it. Dave!

Might try Waytek. I've used them in the past. Not sure if they have cloth covered wire though.

Ahhh Yes, Here it is. Lee Peterson, 78 Taft Ave., Lynbrook NY 11563. He only does business by mail as he is out more than at home. He has an excellent selection of cloth covered wire and the stuff is new and high quality. Also he is very Honest and I have done business with him for years. Thanks for the replies. I was hoping that someone would come up with the name of the outfit that I was thinking of but couldn't quite remember. It finally popped into my head out of the blue: Rhode Island Wiring Service (http://www.riwire.com). They've got quite the assortment of all kinds of wire. Check 'em out.
