RayS Posted December 26, 2006 Share Posted December 26, 2006 relays can be tested!1 remove relay2 find the coil terminals, look at the drawing on the relay3 read terminals with ohm meter, if good they will not read open (should be close to zero) if open then the relay is bad4 apply the proper voltage (should be 12V) across coil, this will close relay5 read contact terminals with ohm meter (should be zero, if not the relay is bad)6 or just replace it and be done with it!
