sweetford55
A friend gave me a brand new carpet for a 1955 Ford Convertible. Will this carpet fit in my 2-Door Customline? I laid the back in...and it looks like the sides that go under the sill plate are about 6" short. Is this because the convertible back seat is closer to the front seat (less leg room)? If that is the only issue, I can cut pieces from under the front seat to fit that small area to reach the front carpet. If you look in the vendors catalog that sells carpet....the convertible and 2-door have different part numbers.Would the front trans. hump and toe boards be the same? How about the back hump and foot wells? All imput would be greatly appreciated before I pull the seats out and find it's not going to fit as planned with the patch on each side. This is not a show car but a daily driver!!!Enjoy your ride!!!!!! Ron

junkyardjeff
I am wanting something close to a turquoise but since it originally had a black rubber mat it would work. Jeff
