Guest desotoguy Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Hi Donald, Sorry I'm late getting to this thread. Just discovered it. My 1933 De Soto coupe had the numbers 213X353DG on the firewall. These are sales codes that were inaugurated in Nov. of 1932. 213 is the upholstery and 353 identifies the color scheme for body, fenders and stripe. Don't know what the X or DG mean.
