That's a modernized quote from some guy who was referring to a luxury car of the 30's. I can't remember his name or the car he was referring to. The point is the same. This post brought to mind the old "Porta-walls", if you remember them. Came in many widths. You could try a set of them.. or get creative with your computor and generate a set of whitewalls on a photo. I have two sets of Porta-walls laying around somewhere. I have no idea why they would have done this line drawing with whitewalls but the errata sheet in the front of the album mentions this page. I don't like the look on the Reatta. 2seater Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 I'm with you on this one. IMHO a blackwall tire sets off nice wheels, it doesn't compete with the look of the wheel. Of course it is purely a matter of personal taste, and if you like whatever look you choose, that is entirely your right.
