Guest ReRelover
My Reatta has 86K. While driving this morning it just conked off. At first it would start up but it would die after driving about 10 feet. After 4 attempts and about 50 feet it died and I couldn't get it started again. I let it sit for about an hour then it started right up and I drove it home. Has anyone had this problem or have any idea what could cause it? Shelby
Check the Fuel pressure on the fuel rail. Could be fuel pump, filter or screen.

alexhouston
When mine did that it was the Crank position sensor. After a cool down period about an hour or so, it always cranked right up and ran great, sometimes for days and many trips before it did it again. Always the cool down period and it started right up. Guest F14CRAZY
BTW, I think it is your ignition coil pack as well.If you pick one up from a parts store or junkyard (fine to do) ask for one for a '95 Park Avenue or whatever interchanges. I believe all 3800s from 1991 on up used the newer style Delcos. Much more reliable. They do look different, so maybe not an option if originality is imporant to you. Vincent Vega
I will second the ignition module as the culprit.

jonlabree
Under the coil pack, where the plug wires come from. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
