Bhigdog
I walked my feet off today. I got there at 0700 and had no trouble parking. I scoped out the trailer parking field (grass) and am worried as to size and softness. It does seem to be on high ground though. The turnout seemed a bit light but some of the venders I talked to said they were doing very well with folks in a mood to spend. It's amazing how many foriegn tongues I heard. Hershey MUST be the premier car event in the world to draw so many folks so far. A lot of the cars in the corral seemed to be suffering from Barret-Jackson syndrome. A line of T-Storms is moving through tonite but the weather looks good for the remainder of the week. Lets hope the grass fields stay firm........Bob. 1940_Buick
Day one was a beautiful day. Didn't seem like Hershey with all the warm weather and sun <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />I found a few bargans! Got a distributor cap for my 1923 Buick. A $50 item, got it for $3!Also found 4 brand new repro Model T Ford hubcaps for $10. Not as perfect as the ones currently available, but they're nice. Also got some books on clearance at Mac's for $5 each.
