Spark plugs for Jordan RE from 1928

Hi!

A friend of mine owns a Jordan Model RE from 1928. Now he wondering which kinds of spark plugs he should get to his car. Can any of help my friend?

There are about 2 to 3 know Jordans to exist in Finland. I quess the one my friend owns is the only restored one. Other are more or less projects.

"Jordan models K, R, L, through 1928; Old type No. C-7, New type No. D-16.

The change up from AC to Champion for my car was D16. I used them for many years until I found a change up from D 16 to AB-6 NGK plugs. I have found them to be twice as good as the Champion or the AC. I find I can get two years (about 20,000 miles) out of them rather than less than 10,000 miles with the others. Also they seem to be available almost anywhere. Try them you might like them.

If you need further info on Jordans, contact the Jordan Club through their website at http://clubs.hemmings.com. There are about 90 member familes in the club. I would love to hear more about the Jordan your friend has - Jordans in the United States are rare.

It is most peculiar for a car made in the U.S.A. before 1929 to have an 18mm thread!

Does this car have a Wisconsin/Continentel Engine, Straight eight or six?!
