'49 Cadillac Deluxe Heating System...Help!

I can not find any information in manuals or other wise of the correct hoses or routing for the Deluxe Heating System (heater in rear, etc) for a '49 Cadillac. I cannot even find much mention of it to 1953. Trying to help out a friend.

Steve, if it is even similar to my '41 Buick's system which has a defroster in the dash and a heater under the seat, it goes from the brass valve on the water pump to the defroster, then from the defroster to the heater, then from the heater back to the water pump. Here's a picture of my car as I was disassembling it:
