Dandy Dave
Does anyone know what the right type and model of horn that should be on my 1915 C-36 roadster. I have a parts book and can not find it in that or the Delco Instruction book that I have. The horn that was on it when I got it was a ford horn, <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> It , like most of the car, was wired wrong. I think model T and I know that isn't right for sure. I assume it should be a Klaxon? Should It be an ahhoooga type or a brrrraatt type???

Dandy Dave
Say Mark, Did your buddy ever call back? Thanks, Dave!
Mark Shaw
Yes, but he didn't have any markings on his horn. He described a Klaxon style with the electrical connections and nameplate on the rear. My Klaxons have the electrical connections just behind the flange where the tag is mounted.Mark Shaw
Dandy Dave
OK, Thanks. I've aquired a Klaxon model 12 but I am not sure if it is right? It is about 13 inches long. Also, when I got this car the Horn that was on it was mounted on the outside and I think it should be under the hood? I think I will leave it where it is as it looks good there and it would make a mess out of the paint if I were to take it and the bracket off. Dave!
