Guest my3buicks Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 attached is the picture of my 72 Centurion Interior I had re-done last summer - I had the seats completely redone frame up, new carpet(high end) on the floor, kick panels and door bottoms, the door panels re-dyed and I had about $2 grand in it. 70Wildcat Posted May 26, 2006 Share Posted May 26, 2006 I just had the front seat(bottom) rebuilt on my 70 Wildcat. Cost $500.00. I had to use the orginal upholstery. It had a few rips that were concealed. I had to make this concession as nobody makes it ready made. Got a quote of nine weeks and $500.00 if I sent the original out to be reproduced. As it's summer couldn't see riding on a milk crate so decided that it would be best to locate a car that's being parted out and get the upholstery off that to be reproduced down the line. Part of the challenge of brining back a car that doesn't have many parts being reproduced. (All dead rcorrect reproductions. $600 for molded door panels (correct material). $40 per yard for trunk material. $279 for correct carpet. $2100 installation for all of the above. Little over 4 Grand---all done perfectly and correctly for a 1955-76R. For gosh sakes don't tell the wife.
