Guest BruceW
There are a number of auto related events held at the Macungie Memorial Park throughout the summer. We are assuming you are refering to Das Awkscht Fescht (The August Festival), which is the largest event and a more than just a car show. For complete information on Das Awkscht Fescht, visit their web site at:www.awkscht.com
Bhigdog
Actually there was a very nice show today at Macungie Park. The local POCI chapter had a GM only show with about 300 cars showing up. There are a number of nice shows during the suumer. One of my favorites is the antique truck show in June. It is a HUGE event drawing old trucks from all over the country. The money and time some folks put into restoring trucks from the smallest pick up to complete tractor trailer tank trucks is amazing. I know what it takes to restore a car, and the effort to restore, say a 1947 concrete truck, to the same level is truly mind boggling..........Bob
