Bell1220 Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Hi, I'm trying to find the value of my mom's car to help her sell it. It is a 1971 Vega 2300, which she bought new. I believe the mileage in the 90's. It is in really good condition. It has been garaged since about 1975. Could anyone please give me a general range of what this vehicle may be worth? And is there any place I can look up the VIN to find out more info on it. I think it is a 4 cylinder, but not sure. It is in a definite restorable condition - not a parts car. Thanks. Bell1220 Posted May 8, 2006 Author Share Posted May 8, 2006 Hi, In stating that the vehicle is in really good condition, I am referring to the fact that all of the body is solid, door jams, etc. There is very little rust on the car, with the exception of the hood (which my understanding is that that was typical for that car)which is mild surface rust. The dash, instruments, the seats, all the mouldings and light covers, are really in exceptionally good condition. By no means is it show car quality. But, it is definitely restorable.
