Guest higg47
This emblem found in the trunk of a 1957 T-Bird that my friend was parting out 25 years ago. Recently came across this item and showed it to a man at the Myrtle Beach Car Show 3/06. Gentleman offered him $ 800.00. What is it and is it worth that much or more? DualQwad
WOW! That's about a hundred dollars per inch for an emblem.
Dave@Moon
That is almost certainly a period badge from an owners club when the cars were new. By the time Ray Miller published Thunderbird! in 1973 it no longer existed, and nothing applicable turns up on any search engines.I'd suggest you post this on the Ford 1954 and newer forum for a better answer. You may also want to send a personal message to forum member Alf1. He's been a SoCal T-Bird owner since 1955 and would likely know of this club. 1937hd45
Chances are you didn't get the guys name, and you'll have a "Could have" story for the rest of your life. What would you have considered a "fair" offer $1,500?
West Peterson
Ever here the story of two fools who met? One who made the offer, the other who didn't accept.
