1959 Cadillac Sales Brochure.....Which One??

My father sold Cadillac limousines and hearses in the 60s through the 80s. I don't know about the sedan/coupe de villes and Eldorados, but the limousines had their own brochure and the hearses and ambulances had one of their own too. They were typically 5-10 pages in full color.

These were custom cars and usually came out via Hess and Eisenhardt or Superior or Victoria. The Cadillac GM books weren't of much use.

What you are finding is what was called the "saver" catalog. These were typically given out at the auto shows. Don't know if they call them savers because they saved the company money, or because alot of times they were scarfed up by brochure savers instead of serious prospects.

For the more serious Cadillac prospect, dealers were provided with "prestige" brochures. There were usually larger in size, had more pages, and might have had more photos than the saver catalogs. From about 1954 to 1964, Cadillac gave them in presentation envelopes. They are out there, but hard to find, and expensive.
