Peter Gariepy
The 37 Buick Roadmaster below has 10 things wrong with it. Can you identify them?
Peter Gariepy
FYI: It not being in your driveway is not one of them. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />Peter
Guest BillP
Don't know much about these cars but I can see a few things. 1. side molding at belt line should go all the way forward along the hood.2. amber fender lights should be whitish.3. rear edge of front fender wheel opening is cut wrong.4. no hood spear (ornament).5. grille has the center divider and cloisonne missing. 6. these are v-windshield cars. 7. hood side vents are wrong.8. don't think center bumper over rider is correct.9. maybe should say buick on hubcaps, can't see it. 10. bright line or molding at base of both fenders is wrong. 11. not sure there should be a crhrome window molding trailing edge of vent window. 12. rear door handle needs fixed. R W Burgess
Gee Peter. These guys admit they don't know much about Buicks. You have to get harder questions. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />Let's see the picture where they flip back and forth from right to wrong. That was cool the last time. Wayne
Guest ZondaC12
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Bingo on the door handle. Car doesnt have suicide back doors. </div></div>WHAT??? i found this thread and decided to try my luck, the 37 is similar enough to the 38 that i figured id do good. i got most of em, but definitely not the handle.why is it not rear suicide doors? something to do with the fact that its a convertible?OH and i know the front thing---the grille slats dont go all the way to the center chrome piece. there is a thin strip of bodywork on either side of the chrome piece, and the slats only go that far. Guest bkazmer
could these "wrong" items denote a custom body? Any chance the other side shows a little coachbuilder's tag near the cowl.
Peter Gariepy
ZondaC12 is exactly right about the grill! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />I think everything has been identified. Here is a photo of the "correct" car.
