helives777
Can anyone tell me how to get an original build sheet on my car? I am trying to find out if the THS400 Transmission came stock in this car. I found where one site said that there was only one car made with the 400 transmission. All the others had a 350 or a 4 speed. I have gutted this car but did not see the original sheet. Is there a place where I can get a copy of this. If not, how can I find out if this car came from the factory with this transmission? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

JohnD1956
You might also try the Sloan Museuem in Flint Michigan. They have been the recipients of a lot of Buick MFD papers. I believe they can identify many vehicles by ID number from 1970 and up.Jd
The Old Guy
The 72 GS 455 had a TH400 from the factory. The GS 350 and the standard Skylark had TH350s
