Wish to locate Dr Clarence E. Woodward

We wish to communicate with a Dr Clarence E. Woodward formerly from New York state. The matter relates to his ownership in 1957 of the 1929 Studebaker President 8 roadster in which he won the Anglo-American Endurance Rally exceeding performance tests over many significant cars from Europe and America.

If you can direct us to Dr Woodward the present owner of the Studebaker has some questions to discuss about the rally event. We would guess him to be about 80 years of age at this time. See the attached image of the Studebaker roadster.

stude8, If you don't have a copy of the program I can make you a good quality copy of the page that had all the 1929 Studebaker info and photo. Dr. Woodward bought the car in 1956 with 52,000 miles on it from someone in Waverly, Ohio. With the windshield folded flat it was clained to do 90MPH. 326658-Mvc-002f.jpg

Thanks for the great image, I have a Xerox copy of the program somewhere but your file is very good to add to my library. The car is now owned by Mr Mort Huber of Park Ridge, IL. We had it out last week for a little exercise and it is still a quality ride. We didn't run it up to 90mph but at 55mph it is barely above a fast idle. In fact after a test ride in the 1920 Mercer Raceabout (Bone shaker) the Studebaker felt like a new car. Stude8
