Centurion
The Super and Roadmaster Sedanettes of the 1942 through 1948 era rank among my favorite of the straight-8 Buicks, so I was pleased to learn that the Danbury Mint has begun offering a new '48 Roadmaster Sedanette in 1:24 scale. I think that the two-tone paint scheme used on the small scale Buick is especially striking, and there's a 1:1 '48 Roadmaster here in Washington state finished in this same color combination. It is always a favorite at the shows. You might enjoy reading this review and looking at the photos of the Buick. Danbury Mint 1948 Roadmaster I've found that it is often possible to obtain mint condition Danbury Mint and Franklin Mint cars for one-half to two-thirds of their original retail price by shopping for them on Ebay. This Buick, however, is a recent issue, and it may be some time before it is commonly seen on Ebay. I realized that I wasn't willing to wait for this one! Matt Harwood
Wow! Impressive model. I'm not into models, and I had no idea how accurate they could be.
