Guest imported_JPIndusi
There is a 1949 Roadmaster 2 door sedanet for sale in NYC 718 area code (Bronx or Brooklyn). Described as good driver, A/T, wants $12,500 firm. Are these desirable models?Joe, BCA 33493
Pete Phillips
Yes, that is a desireable model. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful Buicks ever made.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
jscheib
The asking price seems to put the car in a condition better then "a good driver", either good quality recent restoration or great original condition. Of course, it depend on what the buyer and seller agree. As I am close by NY also, this car is of some interest to me. I would be curious as to what you do about a possible purchase. If you get more information and do not want to buy the car, I would like to hear more. I have a keen interest in the Sedanets, but also mid-50s wagons so not sure which will become my next Buick.John
JohnD1956
John, you ought to get both, that way they will keep each other company in the barn, and not cause trouble with the others. .JohnD

JohnD1956
Glad to keep you posted. I currently have 12 members, although some are pretty far away from Albany which will make winter meetings a bit of a problem. But we'll see what comes of it.
