imported_Badger Guy
Whos going to the OCA Nationals(8/25-8/28)in Minneapolis, MN. I'm only a 2 hours drive from there so I gotta go. I would love to have my 67 f/85 done by then, but I have a better shot at being in Paris Hiltons next video. Which means it's not going to happen. My wife wouldn't let me anyway. I am just about done finishing up a 71 Cutlass my brother was working on before he passed away. Maybe my Nephews will let me take that.Tom
rocketraider
It's just a little too far away for me this year when I look at time off vs what it would take to drive out there. Hopefully it will be as good as the last few have been. It's the same thing for 2005. Maybe 2006 in Texas, and 2007 for sure if Music City Rockets bid to host goes thru. Having chaired the 1995 North Carolina meet, I know all too well what it takes to put on a show that size. It's a lot of hard work and frustration, but when someone comes by and thanks you for a nice time and a good show, it's all worthwhile. Even when it looked like everything was going to hell in spite of your best efforts. If we could just get hotels to quit starting construction, or changing owners and closing 6 months before showdate, there'd be a lot less gray hair and ulcers in OCA <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />. Brian M. Lenz
My wife and I will be up there, driving our 77 Cutlass in from Chicago. We are actually driving up Tuesday, seeing that the last time either of us was up there was the 85 Nats...Brian
Brentman
Just an FYI, the hotel name change has been completed and its now officially a Sheraton and not a Radisson. We've posted an update on the front page of the MOC website and I'll get around to updating the other materials over the next few days.
