55Steve
Hey all,I have been talked into dropping my 55 Special on a 70s buick frame with a 455. Anyone have any idea what models and years might have a wheel base close to 122?"Steve

The Old Guy
My 57 Special was set on a 72 Electra chassis. The frame was cut just behind the front suspension and that put the wheels where they belonged. The body mounts lined right up,as they did not change the line they were built on very often . I had a friend that put a 50 body on a 73 Regal chassis, and that was an easy one . The rear of the stock frame was used to make mounting the gas tank and rear bumper easier
55Steve
All,Great info! This really helps me locate the right model for the swap. Thanks again. I will get a picture of this one up once done. It will be a 55 special, I want to keep my century as original as I can.
