rdstorer
There is no light under there to see where the indicator is. I have looked for a bulb but I don't see any. Or is it supposed to be illuminated?Dick(new Owner)
padgett
No bulb, is an electroluminecent display - is what the five pin connector drives. May have lost the 110v supply.
Jim
The '88-89s had electroluminescent lighting and the '90-91s had bulbs. If you need a shift panel for an '88-89 I have several Reatta parts cars and have a panel. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com

Guest DTerry
It's pretty easy to find. If it's in its original position, it will be just forward of the ashtray held in place by a plastic retainer wrapped around it. It's about an inch, maybe an inch and a half square. Check for 110 volt AC output. If none, check for 12V DC input. If none, get out the wiring diagram and follow it through the console. It's routed through the window and mirror controllers, and mine had an open somewhere. Easy enough to fix; just have to check for voltage at each location until it's found. By the way, do the other lights work okay? Manual and automatic dimming? Illuminated entry? If you have lights in the window and mirror controllers, the inverter is working. I'm assuming that this is an '88 or '89, by the way.
Guest kennyw
can't bring up your email address. Send an email for a pix to: dkwatson247@hotmail.com
padgett
BTW the 12v input is only that on full bright. It and the 110v output drop for dimming.
