Dan Marx
I recently got some 12 cylinder dual coil caps, (dual ignition six?) , that are packed in cosmoline. Some of the stuff is dried on really hard. Any comments on how to clean the grease off, and what solvent should I use? Most of the oil cloth was torn apart on the caps. Any comments are greatly appreciated. ThanksDan Marx
oldford
Soak them in kerosene. This will loosen the cosmoline and you should be able to wipe it off with a soft brush and cloth.Frank
