jimkf Posted July 17 Share Posted July 17 We had a 60 Pioneer wagon that mom called the Hearse - it was black with a utilitarian green vinyl interior. The car had a penchant for burning out ballast resistors, always at the wrong time. Dad kept spares in the glove box and could swap them out with the speed of the old man changing a tire in A Christmas Story. The last straw was when the right rear door popped open one evening in a left turn and my sister almost fell out...the next day dad was at Blaushield Dodge trading the wagon in on a new 68 Dart.
