dalef62
What all is involved in removing the generator on an 8 cylinder Hupmobile? Can I just remove the shaft from generator to water pump/distributor, then remove the three? mounting bolts and pull it out? Or do I need to support the timing chain? And how do you recommend I do that? Thanks, Dale

R and the 6cyl. A both driven off the timing chain and a pain to work on so you don't slip a tooth. No slight on this forum but traffic in this section can be a tad slow. Perhaps ask on one of the Hupp Facebook groups and someone is bound to provide an answer. Steve
