BobinVirginia
I’m in need of a 25” Firestone type E rim that uses the wedge rings. Please let know if you have one to spare!
Layden B
Bob, The Firestone E rim of 25" came in 3 different widths. 32x3 1/2 have a 1" channel on the inside of the rim between the wedges, 33x4 are 1 1/4" and 34x4 1/2 are 1 1/2". They do not interchange as they have to match the felloe on the wheel.
BobinVirginia
Mine are the 33x4 variety, I’ve got a wheel on now that works for just moving it but not driving. Edited May 27 by BobinVirginia (see edit history)
sagefinds
I have one that is 1 1/4" between the ridges but it's clincher on the inside edge. I've heard of guys putting rope in it or body puddy so they can use a straight side tire. I don't know why you couldn't cut half that inside edge off with a plasma cutter, turn it around and heli-arc it back on for straight side. Anyway,it has the outside bead ring,no lockring or wedge ring but I might have them, would have to search the piles. It has a bit of pitting but a good, solid rim. As it is,$210 shipping included to lower continental 48. Please PM me if interested.
