WTB: 1948 Chrysler Newyorker heater valve

A very hard item to find new,  and  If found ost likely extremely expensive.

Later updated ones (still genuine 1946-48 MoPar) are all cast aluminum but look nearly the same.

The one shown is a carry over from 1941-42 cars.

Thanks c49er. I have found reproductions on eBay, but would prefer an original. You write it's a carry over 41-42 on the picture, that is actually the one installed on my car (1948). Does that mean it's not original?

Yes, I have opened it and tried with penetrating oil and heating it up, but it's not moving. The arm connected to the wire is also loose. An option is to make a new axle, but then I need to get it out.

The axle is in brass and seem to be impossible to get out.
