C.Ross Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 I just purchased a very nice 1954 Starchief. Fuel issues there is no fuel in the reservoirs in the carburetor. It has a new fuel pump and fuel lines on it. The accelerator pump is pumping fuel. But no fuel is getting into the two reservoirs. Took it apart. Rusty_OToole Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 Is there fuel in the tank? How old is it? First problem to solve, is there fuel in the tank and is it getting to the fuel pump? If the pump and lines are newly installed it may take a while to fill them. What reservoirs are you talking about? Do you mean the float bowl?
