1932 LaSalle/Cadillac running boards/step Brackets ?

These came with some 1932 LaSalle/Cadillac parts I just can’t figure them out. C-C top bolt hole to the bottom two is 2” and the bottom two are 2” C-C around 4 1/4” wide and 6”tall. Numbers are the same 5758 BL

I was thinking they look like the eye and hook type hinge off the back of an old stake truck - the type that you can swing or lift right off depending on your needs.  Just can't think of the right name for them at the moment.

You mean like an earlier version of these? "Vintage stake bed bracket photo" on Google.

Yes, that's what I was thinking of, we have some on the 64 D300 but of course I don't have any pictures of the back of the truck

After a bit more digging Stake Rack Hardware seems to be the term

 

Right-hand Stake Rack Hook - 3"
