One of the rustiest cars I ever saw was a 1969 Camaro that came from the Titusville area. Even the firewall seams had rust holes.

A local Camaro oaf bought it with intention of building his then-11 year old son the "baddest Camaro in the country!"

Every body man he talked to told him to find another car because it was beyond saving. He ended up finding a 69 Firebird that needed floors and transplanted the Camaro VIN and body plate to that, creating yet another bogus Camaro. The Camaro itself was nothing special but he was determined to build his boy a badass car. Then the kid ended up getting into tuner cars and wanted nothing to do with his daddy's dream.

Ever since then, "Florida car" raises red flags for me.

The physical therapy office in the background made me laugh, because I'm at a point in life that getting in and out of a Squarebird would probably send me to the chiropractor if not PT!

Possibility of Florida rust notwithstanding, this is a pretty Squarebird.

Indeed, beware the seriously-rust damaged unibody Thunderbird.  Not three miles from my home here in western New York there sets a yellow and white '60 hardtop which looks very nice like this one until one gets down and looks for the box units: they're gone!
