Brass T Roadster "Barn Find" $4000

Recommended Posts

This seems like the real deal!

Very original 1913 model T Roadster. Advertising for neighbor, been sitting in a garage for 40+ years, true barn find, and they have the title. Sitting on flat rotten tires, so pictures are not the best, but it appears to be complete, and totally unrestored. Wood spoke wheels appear to be in very good condition, and all wood parts good. Engine cranks with front crank, not locked up. The acetylene powered headlamps are not on the car, but are intact and included with the car. Sale is as is, where is: will have to be pulled out of the garage and onto a flatbed to be transported away.  (206) 396-0634

Somebody got the low buck HCCA buy of the month! Yes, the rear fenders are the 1915/'16 style. But the car appears to have the very rare one year only 1913 rear turtle deck (unless it is a well made fake?).

It needs a lot of restoration to be a really nice car. But maybe with a bit of effort, and a little time, a thousand or two dollars, it could be a very usable brass era T.
