JWAR Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 I have looked everywhere and had no luck at all locating a fuel sender for my riviera I believe the sender is shorted as needle reads quarter tank and drops out to zero when key is switched on I've found senders for like every year except my 1980 Is there anyplace i could possibly get one that would be compatible or is my only option to have the old one rebuilt? Seafoam65 Posted March 27 Share Posted March 27 Before you condemn the fuel sender, go in the trunk and unplug the wire that goes to the gas tank sender and verify the gas gauge goes to full with the key on.
