GM Alternator or Generator Bracket?

Hello,

   Any idea of the application of this generator/alternator bracket?  Maybe it's A/C, P/S, or Air Pump related?  Most likely GM, most likely Chevrolet.  I can't find a match via google searches.  Thanks!

Looks like a generic small block Chevy alternator bracket that's had the back part cut off, likely to clear tall aftermarket valve covers. Unfortunately that missing bolt tab adds a lot of stiffness that is now gone. At this point it's probably scrap.

Joe, good eye!  I didn't even notice that.  It was cut quite well, it looks stock, but upon further examination I can see where it was cut.  Thank you very much for the analysis.  Off to the scrap pile, it's worthless.
