jrbartlett
I have a car with 700-21 tires, and am wondering if anyone has 750-21s available new or used? Or even 800-21s?

alsancle
Why 750s?
jrbartlett
I now own this car, a 1925. This photo is from 1964, and the tires on it then appear larger (taller) than the 700-21s on it now. The current tires appear small in the wheel wells by comparison.
alsancle
That is cool. You need to be careful with the 750 tires as they typically are too fat for prewar cars. Look at the outside diameter measurement on the new tires and pick the biggest one. 20 years ago there would be a bunch of choices, but these days probably not. I've ordered a lot of single tires in the past to try to get the right look. But I'm very anal about how the tires look. I see too many cars that don't look right because the tires are wrong. Good luck. Before and after pictures would be great. Edited December 11, 2023 by alsancle (see edit history)
