Actually my dad owned a 1955 Chrysler too when I was young, that is, until it died one day and he couldn’t get it started no matter how hard he tried and how much stuff he replaced. I think it was an electrical problem which would put it out of his abilities to diagnose and repair. It was well used so off it went to the junk yard and some other $300 car took its place.
