deac
Pretty nice car. The seller does disclose the car will need brake work; one in a million! The seller doesn't show the passenger side of the car or the undercarriage; the paint has worn thin on the left front door, fender hood. If this is original paint then I guess you can call it patina! The left rear tire has a sticker on the tread so the chances are it won't need tires. I don't think this car would too much to make it a decent driver! The 55er
Car shows potential but not at that price. I'd assume the complete brake system needs rebuilt, not unusual and common practice for old cars that have been sitting. However, quality paint jobs are very expensive today and it looks like this car definitely needs refinished. Where are those interior photos anyway especially showing the seats & door panel upholstery? Minor issue but where are the tire valve stems? Did the brainless robot install the hub caps smashing the stems? Or did they install tricky 90 degree stems that I have seen on buses?
The 55er
The stems might be in place but are too short to stick through the hubcaps. Longer stems or plastic valve stem extensions might be needed, just a small nitpick.
The 55er
Also noticed this Pontiac came from the factory without a heater, defroster or radio. It didn't have any turn signals either, they were a later addition.
7th Son
Have you ever noticed that most of the well preserved 4-door cars for sale are from the eastern states? Out west, other styles were more popular and led to a higher availability of sportier models in later years.
