46Chris
Looking for a well-maintained #3 '46-'48 Super sedan, manual shift. Last year we moved to northern WI from our 30-year home in the country outside Madison, WI. No more 40x60 shop, so we had to bid farewell to the 6 remaining cars in our collection. The '46 silver Roadmaster was our favorite. The plan was to eventually find just one old Buick after putting up a garage at the new place. Almost pulled the trigger on a '40 Special about 4 hours away, but didn't. 47buicknut
I own one of the nicest 48 super sedans in the country. It is 95 Percent original including original paint. It has approximately 65k actual miles. Message me if you are interested.

All Supers in those years had manual transmissions. Buick's automatic transmission, the Dynaflow, was introduced for 1948 and was available (as an extra- cost option) that year only on the Roadmaster. 46Chris
Thanks, John, appreciate learning that. I ran a couple of transmissions shops back in the early '70's and recall still getting a share of of Dynaflows, Slim Jims, and Hydra-matics. Dynaflow was certainly the smoothest transmission ever, though the design did sacrifice some efficiency.

Sir, thank you, but I am seeking a '46 - '48 Buick Super Sedan. Your listing rightly belongs in the Cadillac cars for sale forum. If possible, could you please remove your offering from this thread? I would appreciate it. Edited October 5, 2023 by 46Chris (see edit history)
