chris piazza
Recently found the correct switch to activate whatever it is the headlights are meant to do. Low beam to high beam? High beam to higher beam? But the question is; where does it mount on the dash? The switch I found was still part of the wire harness but hanging lose . I don't really see any witness on the dash to help me locate it's correct location. Thanks!
studerex
The photos attached should help. The one with the woodgrain dash is a president and you can see the knob letters.
George Rohrbach
IF you are talking about the funny looking, long toggle switch: The switch changes the position of the head light beams, not their intensity.
chris piazza
Yes, that's the one in question. I'm wondering where it mounts. I see no evidence of it's place on the dash panel from where I found the switch. It was just hanging from the loom.
George Rohrbach
I think it is located near the bottom edge of the dash, below and between the clock and the amp gauge. Do you have the magnetic reflectors? Edited August 22, 2023 by George Rohrbach (see edit history)
