Try dis-connecting the fuel line at the carb. to the pump and run the motor off the starter to see if any fuel is being pumped out from the tank. You probably will want to have a bottle ready at the line to catch any fuel. This will at least tell you if you pump is any good with minimal effort. But having said all that, it's probably time for a new pump or a rebuild kit. 15 years is a long time and the diaphragm is probably toast. My 2 cents. Good Luck!
FINALLY got my coupe back from the paint shop this week! I'm hoping someone can post a few pictures on how the front and rear bumper irons are mounted to the frame. Pretty sure I have all the stuff I need, just not sure how it goes together. I got my car in pieces and the bumper was taken off the frame long before I came along. Thanks!!
I tried to find a thread on how to post photographs within this site, but couldn't find one. I'd like to share a picture or two . Can anyone more computer savvy ( probably everyone reading this ) point me to my goal? Thanks!
Any body out there in 1935 Studebaker Land have a working exterior door handle? I need the passenger side with the key cylinder. Can't find a decent one, maybe you have an extra?? Thanks!
Howdy Folks, anyone out there have an extra output shaft seal for a '37 Dictator? Or, how about a valid part number ? Mine is toast, and all my usual sources for such things are striking out. Thanks All!
Thanks Rex. Yup, that's the same tube I have. Can't figure out how it gets from the pump to the radiator. The metal trays along the top of the frame are making really tough to route. does the tube go above or below the tray???? Beats me!
Can any one out there post a photo or two of how the radiator hoses run on the "35 Commander engine? I'm confuse as to how they are routed, particularly along the bottom end, from the water pump back to the rad. Thanks!!
As a matter of fact, yes. But i can't figure out how to post a photo. Maybe you could P M me your phone number and I can text some to you. Or email i guess.
Yes, that's the one in question. I'm wondering where it mounts. I see no evidence of it's place on the dash panel from where I found the switch. It was just hanging from the loom.
