An excellent find, Fin Seeker!

 

Chrysler product convertibles of the 1950's are

truly rare today.  Their production numbers were

low from the start, and the rust-prone nature of

1957-up cars winnowed their ranks even further.

 

Imperial convertibles from this era receive a bit

more attention, and you're actually more likely to

see an Imperial convertible today than most of the

less-expensive models of convertibles.

Factory AC, power windows and both front and rear bumper "wings" are very rare for these cars.
I question the authenticity of the Plymouth logo on the sides of the convertible top. Only reference I know for that was the '56 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 'verts with embrodery logos about there.

That convertible emblem looks more 1940ish than 1958.  Forward look advertising was popular by 1958.
