2023 Forest Grove Concourse d’Elegance

Recommended Posts

Thanks for sharing! Forest Grove is the last remaining CDE in the Pacific NW. It's hard to believe that it was over 40 yrs ago that I first showed a car. It's been more then 30 yrs since I had a car across the the stage during the award ceremony. It survives because it stands out as one of the most enjoyable, low keyed events for both participants and spectators. Please pardon my whimsey as I reflect on what once was.

Sorry I missed it-I really thought it was next week. I'm sure it was hot, but virtually assured that the weather will be great every year.

As an aside the location is on the campus of "Pacific University" not Forest Grove University.

Lancia Lambda, a 1920s car that drives like a modern car. Narrow angle V4, sliding pillar front suspension, highly effective brakes and unibody construction amongst other things.
