Xander Wildeisen
Talked to the owner of this Vette, thought it could have been one I used to own. This is #55, mine was #101. Both early 56’s with painted headlight rings.

Buffalowed Bill
Thanks for sharing! Forest Grove is the last remaining CDE in the Pacific NW. It's hard to believe that it was over 40 yrs ago that I first showed a car. It's been more then 30 yrs since I had a car across the the stage during the award ceremony. It survives because it stands out as one of the most enjoyable, low keyed events for both participants and spectators. Please pardon my whimsey as I reflect on what once was. Sorry I missed it-I really thought it was next week. I'm sure it was hot, but virtually assured that the weather will be great every year. As an aside the location is on the campus of "Pacific University" not Forest Grove University.

Narrow angle V4, sliding pillar front suspension, highly effective brakes and unibody construction amongst other things. Edited July 17, 2023 by John E.
