Graeme C - Silverwings
Seeking a set of pistons, rings and valves for a 1926 Chrysler E80 motor. They are 3.5inch pistons. At a pinch, we can re-sleeve to 3.625 inches like the L80. I understand that the E80/L80 engine was used in Dodge 2 ton trucks in the mid-1930s. Is this true? Maybe pistons from those engines would fit, although they would be just as hard to find I suppose.

Graeme C - Silverwings
Thank. Yes, I tried both sources. It looks like I will be able to make pistons from a Chev Blue Flame Six work. Bore and compression height are similar. The different gudgeon pin size is the main issue but we should be able to make bushes. Egge and Ross Pistons can make a set of pistons for me, but I think the Chevy route (although sacrilege!) is the most economical way to go. These pistons are readily available.
