37PackardMan
I have not replaced shocks on a car in several decades. I used to use Monroe but I see other brands on the internet...KYB, Sensen, Duralast, Sachs... I am looking for advice from owners who have crossed this bridge recently. What has been your experience? rocketraider
Does this car have air suspension? Monroe were and are good shocks along with KYB and Gabriel. I think the other brands you mentioned are probably made under contract by one of the major suppliers.
bryankazmer
Sachs is a manufacturer - they are part of ZF, the transmission folks
RansomEli
Monroe will give you a more factory ride. KYBs will give a firmer ride. KYBs were great on my Camaros, but I don't think you would like them on your Lincoln town car. Go with Monroes.
