Dave39MD
855077 only goes on pump 855155 if my AC book is correct. The 855155 application is 28-29 Olds. Dave
plk
UPDATE The pump number is 855097; still do not show this number! Anyone?
Dave39MD
That number is not in my 1942 AC book. It may have been changed. Where did you find that number? Dave
plk
The number 855097 is on the top casting. My book goes up to 1946 but I think this pump is from the late 20's when cars first started to use mechanical fuel pumps; probably '28-9.
Dave39MD
That is the casting number is for the top cover. I went through each type A pump parts break down in my 42 book and the arm number you show only appeared one time for pump 855155. That pump as I mentioned above is only for 28 and 29 Oldsmobile.
